I am an Information Systems scholar studying how people evaluate information, interact with digital technologies, and make decisions in technology-mediated environments.
My research examines digital behavior, information quality, trust, and human–AI interaction. I also develop and teach courses in business analytics, machine learning, and AI, connecting analytical methods with business problems and responsible decision-making.

Research: People, Information, and Technology
My research investigates how perceptions, motivations, social influences, and technological characteristics shape people's digital behaviors. Published studies address information sharing and verification, privacy, cybersecurity, and experiences with digital technologies. My current work increasingly examines information quality, trust, and human–AI interaction, including AI-generated information and AI-supported learning.
Applied Data Science & AI
My approach to applied data science emphasizes systematic analytical problem-solving, informed by the CRISP-DM framework. I focus on understanding business problems, evaluating data quality, choosing appropriate analytical methods, and interpreting results responsibly. This work connects technical analysis with Information Systems foundations and evidence-based decision-making.
Teaching & Curriculum Development
I teach Information Systems and Business Analytics by connecting conceptual understanding, technical skills, and analytical judgment. At UW–Eau Claire, I initiated and developed undergraduate courses in advanced business analytics and AI systems in business. My teaching helps students select appropriate methods, question analytical outputs, and make informed decisions.
Professional Engagement & Collaboration
My professional activities connect scholarly research, technology education, and organizational practice. I contribute through conference leadership and peer review, have participated in university–industry AI initiatives, and develop professional education on responsible AI use and information reliability. I welcome research collaborations and conversations with organizations working on information quality, human–AI interaction, and applied analytics.
Connect
I welcome scholarly collaborations, academic partnerships, and conversations about Information Systems, AI, and analytics education.
